The Short Hills Ophthalmology Group is the oldest and largest eye care provider in the area. It was founded in 1948 by Dr. Gerald Fonda, a well known low vision specialist. The physicians at Short Hills Ophthalmology provide comprehensive adult and pediatric eye care including small-incision, no stitch cataract surgery and in office laser surgery for glaucoma and diabetes. A full-service optical dispensary and contact lens services are on the premises.

Our office accepts most insurances and vision plans. Please call us to find out if we participate with your plan. A referral from your primary care physician (PCP) may be required prior to your visit. It is our policy that it is the patient's responsibility to be sure that a referral is obtained before being seen by the doctor.
