Welcome to Short Hills Ophthalmology. Dr. Michael A. Farbowitz is a Board Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, specializing in eye disorders and refractive surgery. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, meeting the highest standards of training qualifications, professional competence and ethical conduct among surgeons.
Our office is conveniently located at 551 Millburn Avenue in Short Hills. We have a large parking lot and wheelchair accessibility. Our office is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am to 5pm and Thursdays from 8:30 until 8pm. There is a doctor available on call 24 hours, 7 days a week for emergencies. We have a full service optical shop on the premises and a contact lens dispensary able to dispense most contact lenses in a matter of a few days. Our office is your only destination for all of your eye care needs.
We are in need of children's prescription eyeglasses and adult and children's nonprescription sunglasses for a medical mission Dr. Farbowitz will be participating in this June. If you
would like to donate a pair of glasses you can drop them off or mail them into
the office. The deadline is Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
